how the school started

it started as a seventh-day adventist missionary school which evolved from primary, multigrade and then to elementary school status.

this was in 1951.

the school building used to be the home of cagayan valley sanitarium and hospital. after a few years of operation, the hospital was relocated to a bigger area. thus, the school was born and took over the premises. complementing the former hospital building was a church edifice and a pastoral house.

the teachers and staff were all adventists. most of the students were kids of missionaries, hospital workers, churchmembers and the surrounding neighborhood.
